So, I think what we've got going here is a pirate theme.
See, you've got your stripes and your navy to give the ensemble that naval/'ay matey' je ne sais quoi, and then you've got the necklace, which is clearly representing the pirate's booty.
(Not the kind of booty you classify in the 'Things to Shake' category, booty as in stolen property. Just so we're clear. Although you could shake a necklace. Would probably make an interesting noise. What kind of tangent is this? Argh. Or should I say, Aarrrrrgh.)
