Royal Color Combination of the Day: June 2

Queen Máxima took another deeeeep dive into her wardrobe last week, unearthing a Graciela Naum outfit that's been around since 2002.

On paper? This color combination works. In practice? This color combination should be glad it has Máxima at its helm. I cannot quibble, though, for it inspired her to wear the bracelet from her tutti frutti set of jewelry, and there's never anything wrong with that.

Here's a thing I find amusing: Máxima originally wore this dress in May 2002, attending a function for the wedding of Princess Märtha Louise of Norway and Ari Behn. And just a few months earlier, attending Máxima's own February 2002 wedding...
...was Märtha Louise, traveling on the very same purple + green wavelength. She threw it down, and Máxima picked it up. I suppose your wedding wear can't go wrong if you wear an outfit the bride will love, at least.
