Sunday Tidbits for November 1: Trip Updates, a Tiara Update, and More

Let's do this thing:

--The Dutch royal court announced yesterday that Queen Máxima is recovering at home after being released from Bronovo Hospital. She was admitted for treatment for a kidney infection after returning home early from her state visit to China with King Willem-Alexander. [NDTV]

--In get-me-a-plane-ticket-right-now news: Fashioning a Reign: 90 Years of Style from The Queen's Wardrobe will be the largest ever exhibit of QEII's clothing, in celebration of her 90th birthday next year. Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, and the Palace of Holyroodhouse will all host parts of the 2016 exhibit, which will include everything from costumes from her youth to an exploration of tartan in her clothing (bet you can't guess where that one will be) to her coronation and wedding gowns. [Telegraph]

--Queen Margrethe joined Crown Princess Mary for one of Mary's annual engagements, unveiling the year's Christmas Seal, because this year's stamps are designed by Margrethe. I love a Margrethe design, I love these two teaming up, and I love the effect of Mary's dress (which is Oscar de la Renta, per StyleofMary). [ParisMatch, LastCall, StyleofMary]

--Prince Harry's trip to the US this week was - as expected - a hit. But he wasn't the only royal lurking about North America this past week: the Duke of Gloucester was in Alabama, Princess Astrid of Belgium was in Canada, the Princess Royal was in New York City, and the Earl of Wessex was also in Canada. --And finally, you remember the glorious Chaumet Westminster Tiara, right? Well, click here to see it being tried on (and do try not to be too jealous). [Instagram, with thanks to all that sent it in!]
