Sunday Tidbits for April 10: An Abundance of Upcoming Events

Sweden continues to provide us with royal news you can use:

--The official guest list for King Carl Gustaf's 70th birthday celebrations at the end of this month won't be released until the event is upon us, but the royal houses have started confirming their attendance one at a time. So far, the other Scandinavian monarchies are in: King Harald, Queen Sonja, Princess Märtha Louise, Ari Behn, Queen Margrethe, Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary, and Princess Benedikte will be attending. It's not certain yet if Haakon and Mette-Marit will be there. [Norway Today, Billed-Bladet]

--While you're marking your calendars for Swedish events, details of Prince Oscar's christening were announced this week. Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel's son will be christened at the Royal Chapel at the Royal Palace of Stockholm on Friday, May 27. [Kungahuset]

--Prince Harry's prepping for the Invictus Games in Orlando, unveiling the UK team at Buckingham Palace. He'll be in Orlando for the games next month, May 5-13, and he'll stop in Toronto on May 2. Harry watchers, get ready. [Express, YouTube]

--More baby stuff: Belgium's royal palace confirmed that Prince Amedeo (son of Princess Astrid, nephew of King Philippe) and his wife Elisabetta are expecting their first child. The baby's due in May. [RTL]
