--A little tiara appearance we missed, from the wedding of Prince Maximilian of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and Franziska Balzer in Germany. As was pointed out by ReeceT21 in the comments last week, the bride's tiara matches the tiara worn by Princess Tatiana of Greece last year. It's a Bulgari tiara, loaned by Tatiana for Prince Carl Philip's wedding, now either loaned again or another of the same model. [Hello]
--Think I might be into this dress worn by Queen Rania to the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Basic, but not.
--As you've likely heard, the Duke of Westminster passed away suddenly of a heart attack last week. The family name has come up here before primarily in relation to their quite spectacular tiara collection, which we have covered in the past. (And since it does come up, the estate is held in a trust.) [Telegraph, Guardian]
--And finally, over at the Jewel Vault, QEII officially kicked her summer holiday into gear.
Coming up this week: Olympic things and more...
Tidbits is your place throughout the week to share things we
haven't covered yet and for all your off topic chats. Enjoy!
